Medical Care for Work Injuries
You have the right to report job-related injuries or illnesses to your employer. You may also be entitled to medical treatment and time to recover.
Protective Equipment
If you work around pesticides, chemicals, or other hazardous materials, your employer must provide and pay for any protective equipment required for the job. This includes items like gloves, masks, or goggles.
Safety Training in a Language You Understand
You have the right to receive training about workplace hazards, injury prevention, and health and safety rules. This training must be provided in a language and vocabulary that you can understand.
Safe Housing (If Provided by Employer)
If your employer provides housing, it must be clean and safe. You must be allowed to leave your housing during your personal time.
